Studio Lutalica had the privilege of partnering with Urgent Action Fund for Feminist Activism, an organisation that has supported feminist activists globally for over 25 years. The goal was to develop a website that effectively reflects UAF's mission while enhancing their capacity to support women, trans, and non-binary activists in times of need. Inspired by the spirit of activism, Studio Lutalica aimed to create a modern and dynamic platform that aligns with UAF's brand identity. The design utilises bold typography and editorial cut-outs to communicate strength and empowerment, balancing these elements with an accessible, user-friendly design. By incorporating bold circular motifs and limiting animations, the website remains sustainable and aligned with UAF's values. The website's modular layout, featuring reusable blocks, was designed to enable UAF to update and expand their content efficiently. This flexibility is vital for an organisation that relies on adaptability and rapid response. Studio Lutalica's mobile-first approach ensures accessibility across all devices, recognising the significant portion of UAF's audience engaging via mobile. This design choice supports a seamless user experience, facilitating UAF's ongoing impactful work. Through this collaboration, Studio Lutalica contributed to a digital presence that embodies UAF's mission and serves as a tool for advocacy and connection.
