Created for Associate Professor Alison Place's Design and Feminism course in the University of Arkansas MDES program, "On Time: Utopian Nightmares" explores speculative feminist futures through a dystopian lens. This broadside, derived from the essay included in the poster, uses Donna Haraway's cyborg ironically to critique futurist aspirations.

Biography

Jessica Gobble is a Master of Design Graduate at the University of Arkansas. As of Spring 2024, her research investigates the following topics: accessible design, crip & queer theory, collaborative making methods, design history, identity, and print media.
