Description

The Interactive Public Installation Series (IPIS) is an innovative public art project that utilizes mixed reality technology to engage communities in interactive storytelling and collaborative decision-making. Installed in public spaces like parks and squares, IPIS invites participants to engage with virtual scenarios on their smartphones that explore pressing social issues, including gender inequality, environmental sustainability, and social justice. Each installation presents participants with narrative-driven scenarios where their decisions influence the collective outcome visible on large public screens. This real-time interaction not only fosters community engagement but also promotes public discourse on important social issues. By providing a platform for diverse voices to be heard and considered, IPIS encourages participants to reflect on their own roles within societal structures and challenges them to think critically about their impact on these systems.
