Compass for Kindness is a free online interactive resource, independently conceived and designed by Lutalica Designer Zoe Tang, with Creative Direction and Development funded and executed by Studio Lutalica. The platform is dedicated to dismantling the stigma surrounding suicide by presenting facts in a clear, digestible manner and equipping individuals with tools to engage openly and positively with loved ones. The design of Compass for Kindness blends aesthetics, creativity, and play, supporting users in navigating emotionally challenging topics. Drawing inspiration from themes of navigation and exploration, the platform incorporates elements reminiscent of old maps, with a soothing colour palette of blues, pinks, and greens, and script typography that invites users into a comforting and familiar space. Through this collaboration, Studio Lutalica has helped bring Zoe's vision to life, ensuring the platform is both impactful and accessible to all.
