Description
This is a speculative project that focuses on ironic recentering contraception and potential benefits, designed for men as a means of becoming more responsible and part of the reproductive discourse. Envisioned is a long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) implant called AndroSecure, that is mandatory for all "sperm producers" (SP's) a term inclusive to cis-men, intersex, trans, and any other gender capable of producing sperm that could result in a pregnancy. The program's goal in this speculative project is to envision a world where SP's must own up to their role & responsibility in reproductive healthcare, reduce teen pregnancy, and stabilize exponential population growth to a more sustainable curve.
